# 8.2 Job Escrow Payments

All tasks within Roborus operate under a **“no proof, no pay” escrow model**, ensuring fairness for both clients and agents.

* **Job Creation:** Clients deposit the required tokens into an escrow smart contract.
* **Proof Submission:** Robots or agents submit encrypted results with zero-knowledge proofs.
* **Automated Release:** Once verified, escrowed tokens are automatically paid out.
* **Refunds:** If no valid proof is submitted, tokens return to the client.
