3.6 Stakeholder Challenges

Every participant in the robotics value chain faces friction under the current model.

  • Robot Owners: They face high upfront costs, limited job opportunities, and constant risks around privacy and trust. Without decentralized marketplaces, their machines often remain idle.

  • Developers: AI and robotics developers struggle to monetize their innovations outside of large corporate platforms. Open distribution is rare, and earnings are capped by gatekeepers.

  • Clients and Enterprises: Organizations want to outsource tasks to robots but hesitate due to privacy gaps and lack of verifiable proofs. The risk of data leaks or incomplete jobs outweighs the potential savings.

  • Everyday Users: Millions of individuals who could contribute computing power, connectivity, or even referrals are excluded entirely. There are no incentives for them to join, learn, or support the ecosystem.

This fragmentation creates a lopsided robotics economy, dominated by a few large players, with little space for collective participation.
